The third generation of the Mini Cooper, "new" product has been photographed undisguised BMW, months before its expected towards the stern of the early years.

The appearance of the new Mini is removed from its predecessor than what was expected, with a few notable changes to the design before giving it greater visual distinction in the passage of the second generation model in the first third of the second.

The circular rings in the most prominent LED headlamps are perhaps the most important change, have seen them on the Rocketman concept in 2011.

The front design of 2014 New Mini Cooper Hatcback is softer than before, but much more pronounced with it, the larger and narrower grille, and with more rounded edges and a 3D effect. The lower grille is more pronounced, and is flanked by fog lights more prominent.

In profile, the new Mini is slightly longer with a longer wheelbase and increased front overhang. The greenhouse was slightly reduced and the line inclined more towards the tailgate roof.

On the back there is more of a nip and tuck and a change in philosophy with the graphical view of the current car in which larger and larger tail lights. The lower bumper has been reported, and two central exhaust model Cooper S (have two variants Cooper and Cooper S blatantly broken) more important.

Back spy photos of the interior reveals the acceptance of a BMW iDrive-style controller for infotainment functions and the more traditional large round dials in the screen in the center console. Insiders have reported a big jump in the quality of the new interior.

The new three-door Mini won here is the first of 11 to 12 BMW Minis and that is to spread a new all-wheel drive platform known internally as UKL1. The platform, thanks to its longer wheelbase, is to significantly improve the ride quality of the Mini and also to further sharpen handling.

The new 2014 Mini Cooper is to share with a choice of petrol or diesel 1.5-liter three-cylinder engines with a new family, with BMW in UKL1 area. Performance turbo 1.6-liter should continue higher in each Cooper S and JCW versions.

A manual six-speed gearbox is available as standard transmission, with an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. Other mini-models can be four-wheel drive in the future as demand increases with the technology is an integral part of the strategy UKL1.
